POSITION SUMMARY The Facility Maintenance Team Member will assist with the daily maintenance of the facility's building and grounds. Position will be geared toward working in various areas throughout the facility and responsibilities including but not limited to events, crowd control and implementing and following facility emergency procedures, safety guidelines and company polices for patrons and employees. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Function cooperatively with all Operations, Facility and Grounds staff Work with contractors as necessary Follow all manuals, processes, procedures and maintain OSHA compliance Provide knowledgeable guest service to guests while having awareness of the guest and community needs Execute and complete scheduled cleaning in various areas and restrooms of the facility Maintain and control trash in all areas of the park and buildings Communicate facility maintenance needs to leadership Understand and carry out facility policies and procedures Assist with opening/closing facility on a daily basis Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility Inventory, organize, and stock closets, toolboxes and maintenance areas Assist with cleaning schedule around daily activities Assist with building internals (sprinkler systems, HVAC systems, alarm systems, etc.) Assist in utilities management (lights, temperature controls, heaters, etc) Maintain and repair playing surfaces Schedule and perform maintenance on facility equipment Coordinate with Facilities Manager on facility repairs to avoid conflicts All other duties as assigned by management GROUNDS MAINTENANCE: Monitor overall appearance and cleanliness of the buildings Coordinate maintenance and repair work with leadership for maximum usage of restroom, concession areas Monitor all walkways and flower beds and keep clear of weeds, grass, trash, water, ice, etc. Operate and maintain sports equipment Assist in maintenance of trees, shrubbery and flower beds Operate machinery to include but not limited to all equipment Clean and maintain parking lot Keep inventory of supplies and equipment as well as maintenance logs Follow up with guests to learn how the facility can be improved Complete special projects and daily assignments as directed by the General Manager and Facilities Manager MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of commercial facilities inclusive of HVAC, electrical, suppression systems and kitchen equipment not required, but helpful Experience working with sports facilities and associated grounds and equipment not required but helpful Ability to think quickly and rationally in times of emergency to prevent further problems General knowledge of maintenance, janitorial & landscaping Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills Must be a team player with a positive can-do attitude Excellent communication skills Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays Must be able to obtain CPR/FIRST AID certifications within a specific time period WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend Pushing/pulling/lifting 50 pounds Ability to navigate around the facility for long periods of time Ability to climb elevated areas to complete tasks (i.e. lift for scoreboards, etc.) Facility has intermittent noise Job Posted by ApplicantPro
