Job Description:
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is recruiting for an experienced,
General Ledger Accountant, for a 12-month) contract assignment in
Oak Ridge, TN. This hybrid role will include account analysis and
reconciliation, preparation of standard finance reports, verify
accuracy and conformance of reporting documents, analysis of
financial information, complete corrective account actions, and
perform ad-hoc financial data analysis and reconciliations. U.S.
Citizenship is required. Local candidates only (per diem is not
offered) Target start date: 07/21/25 W2 Pay Rate: up to $48.00/hour
(time & half for overtime) Duration: 12 months Hours: 8:00 am –
5:00 pm, Monday – Friday Education and Requirements: Requires a
bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. 2 years of professional
accounting and/or financial concepts and principles experience.
Requires knowledge of U.S. government Federal Acquisition
Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards. Able to work on
problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data
requires a review of a variety of factors. Working knowledge of
computer systems, Microsoft Office, and software operations as
applied to accounting and related functions. Self-motivated and
able to work under pressure, focus on details and provide extra
effort to meet priorities and deadlines with minimum
supervision.
