Job Description:
Description: Works on a 4/10 schedule. Start times are flexible
but the standard work week is: Monday - Thursday from 7:00 am to
5:30 pm. Candidate must complete security questionnaire and
successfully clear site access requirements check. All employees
are subject and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a
condition of employment. Must be able to obtain a security
clearance, as applicable. Job Summary: In this role, you will
participate in HVAC design, development, and evaluation of
mechanical components and processes by applying applicable HVAC
safety, techniques, procedures and criteria to originate reports,
drawings, calculations, and more with applicable procedures, codes,
standards, and contract requirements. You will collaborate and
support other engineering disciplines for mechanical matters. Your
professional work knowledge and abilities through the application
of standard mechanical engineering techniques and criteria will
enable you to make impactful contributions to the team. Education
and Experience Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in
Mechanical (or related) Engineering with 2 - 5 years years of
progressive professional work experience or 6 - 9 years of relevant
work experience. Required Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of
construction roles, practices, and economics. • Knowledge of
industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards (specifically
ASHRAE). • Knowledge of engineering planning and control methods
including computerized methods. • Strong verbal and written
communications skills. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
products (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel). • Proficient in the use
of Trane TRACETM 700 and VariTraneTM Duct Designer software. •
Knowledge of FATHOM and Arrow fluid analysis programs. Position
Details: Pay Rate / Range: $27.19- $58.77 The above salary range
represents the range expected for the position; however, final
salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the
position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education,
and skills; location; travel required; and current market
