Job Description:
Mennonite Central Committee (MCC), a leading global nonprofit
organization focused on humanitarian aid and sustainable
development, is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our
Manufacturing team. This role is pivotal in optimizing our
production processes and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness
of our initiatives. The ideal candidate will apply their
engineering expertise to improve manufacturing processes, ensuring
projects are completed sustainably and ethically in alignment with
MCCs mission of relief and development in communities worldwide.
Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes by applying knowledge
of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials.
Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of
production process. Advise on planning, quality control and quality
improvement tasks. Ensure production operations are in alignment
with environmental, health and safety regulations. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to integrate new technology or approaches in
processes. Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes in a
sustainable and ethical manner. Strong expertise in process
engineering and manufacturing workflow. Proficiency in process
simulation software. Competent in data analysis and statistical
process control. Understanding of manufacturing best practices,
efficiency optimization and sustainable practices. Excellent
problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified
Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) or similar is a plus. Professional
Engineer (PE) license preferred.
