What You Will Do : Build, develop, and commission automation and
control (A&C) systems, including PLCs and Measurement Systems.
Support plant local OT systems, encompassing HMI software and
servers. Coordinate industrial control system networks and operator
workstations. Maintain and improve SCADA interfaces to A&C
systems. Craft and update process control flow diagrams, P&IDs,
and control panel drawings. Apply your understanding of electrical
hazardous areas (NFPA 70) and intrinsically safe wiring.
Troubleshoot and sustain electronic and pneumatic control systems.
Provide support for Gas Control and operations ticket resolution.
Collaborate with IT/TIS business partners to troubleshoot and
support OT Laptops. Implement governance and maintenance
documentation for A&C RTUs. Offer cost estimates, manage
vendors, and support commissioning/startup. Develop comprehensive
technical documentation, SOPs, and training materials. Who You Are:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, Computer
Engineering, or a related field at an ABET Accredited institution.
Have a minimum of 4 years of related work experience. Possess
experience in crafting and troubleshooting industrial control
systems. Exhibit strong troubleshooting, analytical, and
communication skills. Demonstrate advanced computer/software
proficiency. Show leadership and project engineering capabilities.
Preferred: ISA certification or familiarity. Experience working
with RTUs, PLCs, SCADA, and industrial control systems. Familiarity
with Modbus/Modbus TCP and industrial communication protocols.
Experience with NEC/NFPA-70 standards. Hands-on experience with
field devices, calibration, and instrumentation. Understanding of
gas measurement basics, including flow calculations, corrected
volume, PTX corrections, and AGA standards Experience with
ultrasonic flow meters, including analysis and custody-transfer
applications. Ability to coordinate work for field technicians and
contractors. Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20
pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing,
sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect
color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability
to work in tight spaces. Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office)
include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember
and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information,
understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative
solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable
terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term
basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate
work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and
follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms,
compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and
communicate with individuals via telephone. Working Conditions:
Standard business hours with availability for after-hours or
on-call support as needed. Periodic statewide travel required.
