• AHA BLS/NIH/AHA ACLS/ AHA PALS required
• State License 1 Verification required
• NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) required
• Certifications needed as per the unit description
  • Job Details
  • Applicants need to have both phase 1 and phase 2 PACU experience as well as preop experience.
  • Float between PACU and Same Day Surgery.
  • 2 weekend shifts per contract
  • Occasional On Call
  • General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. Traveler can start any Sunday upon completion of compliance documents by the deadline.
  • Nonbillable orientation of 16 hours included in confirmation.
  • Hospital can cancel one shift biweekly without a financial penalty based on employment agreement if there is a decrease in hospital census.
  • Additional overtime shifts will be flexed based on hospital census without penalty.
  • Contract RN/LPN team members actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2 years of experience
    • Accepts 1st time travelers
    • AHA BLS/NIH/AHA ACLS/ AHA PALS
    • Phase 2 Recovery and Pre-Post Experience Required
    • Traveler must live 100 miles from the facility
      • Schedule Information
      • Traveler's permanent residence must be 100 miles or greater from the hospital's service area.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Must float between PACU and Same Day Surgery
          • Additional Details
          • Traveler is expected to support and educate nursing students in addition to their clinical care duties.
