  • Floating required, rotating weekends, and rotating holidays
  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS preferred, NIHSS
  • Traveler's permanent residence must be 100 miles or > from the hospital's service area.
  • General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. Starting date is flexible upon completion of compliance documents.
  • Include in the confirmation: 16 hours of nonbillable orientation.
  • Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed schedule if there is a decrease in census.
  • Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty.
  • Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession. The clinical nursing student education responsibility is expected in addition to/alongside the provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty at Ballad Health.
