  • Traveler's permanent residence must be 100 miles or > from the hospital's service area.
  • General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. Start any Sunday upon completion of required compliance documents.
  • Confirm upon hiring: 16 hours of nonbillable orientation.
  • Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty as part of the employed schedule if there is a decrease in census.
  • Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease without penalty.
  • Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to support nursing student education in addition to clinical care in every nursing specialty at Ballad Health.
