Job description Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities Assist Physical Therapists in planning and implementing treatment programs for residents Deliver therapy services in accordance with treatment plans and facility guidelines Help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and coordination Monitor and document resident progress; report changes to supervising therapist Educate residents and family members on safe mobility techniques Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations Qualifications Active North Carolina PTA license CPR certification Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting is preferred but not required Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability (if required) Work setting: Inpatient Skilled nursing facility Rehabilitation center Location: Mills River, NC 28759 Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $37.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week Benefits: Dental insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Alto Health Care Staffing is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
