Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Kingsport, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/20/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab Facility: Holston Valley Medical Center (Ballad Health) Location: 130 W Ravine Rd, Kingsport, TN 37660 Start Date: July 20, 2025 Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shift: 3x12-Hour Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) Position Summary: Holston Valley Medical Center is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab team. This role is essential in delivering safe, timely, and quality cardiovascular care, including interventional and electrophysiology procedures. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling, comfortable taking call, and willing to support nursing student education efforts as part of Ballad Health's clinical culture. Key Responsibilities: - Circulate and monitor during EP procedures including: - Devices (pacemakers, ICDs) - EPS studies and Ablations (Cryo, PFA, CARTO, EnsiteX) - Assist with procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including diagnostic and interventional cases. - Utilize imaging and recording systems including: - Siemens Sensis - Philips systems - EP mapping systems (Claris, CARTO, EnsiteX) - Ensure accurate documentation in Epic EHR system. - Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to urgent/emergent cases. - Support nursing student education as part of the Ballad Health teaching environment. Facility Structure: - Cath Labs: 2 - Structural/PV Lab: 1 - EP Labs: 2 Required Qualifications: - Licensure: Active RN license in-hand at time of submission (Tennessee or compact) - Certifications: AHA BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) - Experience: Circulating and monitoring experience in EP required; Cath Lab experience highly preferred - Call Requirement: Yes (must be available and responsive) - Scheduling: Must work one early shift (6:00 AM start) and one late shift (12 hrs) per week - Travel Radius: Must reside 100 miles from the facility – locals are not accepted Preferred Experience & Skills: - Experience with EP navigation/mapping platforms: - Claris, CARTO, EnsiteX - Experience with Cryoablation and Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) - Knowledge of Philips and Siemens Sensis equipment Travel Radius: Must reside 100 miles from the facility – locals are not accepted About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
