Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Nursing License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: COVID-19 Vaccination Required or Declination on File Flu Vaccination or Declination Required Description: Registered Nurse in the Cath Lab setting. Start date is ASAP. Patient ratios are 1:3. First-time travelers are not accepted. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. On-call duty is required one day a week and every other weekend. Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. Primary assignment is in the Cath Lab, may cover EP, Holding, and outpatient lab. Block scheduling is not accommodated. Local candidates are not accepted outside a 75-mile radius. Pending license is accepted, but must be obtained prior to the start date. All requests for time off must be submitted during the initial application process. Recent experience with electronic health records is preferred but not required. Pass/fail testing will be conducted on the first day of orientation. Testing includes a Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and a Moderate Sedation Test. Candidates are expected to enter the lab within 24 hours after signing. Attendance policy in place; more than two shifts missed without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation.
