Pay Information $1,956 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, NRP, and BCLS Must-Have: Strong experience in fetal heart monitoring Ability to assist in both mother and baby care Description: The unit provides care for both mothers and newborns. It is an LDRP unit, handling moderate to high acuity cases. The candidate will require autonomy due to the nature of the department. The unit typically sees around 100 births annually. Candidates will assist with both routine and high-risk deliveries. Strong experience is necessary for the successful management of this role. Flexibility to float to MedSurg and other areas as needed is required. Weekend duties will be determined based on departmental needs. The documentation and communication system used includes specific software. Candidates must be comfortable with floating based on census and skill sets. References are required before starting the role.
