Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Knoxville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,241 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting License: Current nursing license Certifications: BLS-AHA NIHSS ACLS (preferred) Must-Have: Ability to pass EKG testing before the start date Experience with a patient ratio of 1:8 Float required across Medical-Surgical units and telemetry Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care. Candidates must have recent experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing. The role includes administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing patient care. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation. Nurses will be expected to perform blood product administration and manage IVs. Weekend shifts are required, including coverage every other weekend or two weekends per month. This position may involve team nursing with a ratio greater than 8:1. Travelers requesting time off during major holidays will not be accommodated. Candidates must have experience with charting systems, preferably Cerner. Interdisciplinary support will be available from various departments. The unit will care for adults and geriatric patients with general medical-surgical diagnoses.
