ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Johnson City, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/08/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - OR Job Details: • Work 10-hour or 12-hour shifts depending on facility needs • Occasional call and weekend coverage required • 1:1 patient ratio for all shifts (days, nights, weekends) • Weekend coverage mandatory • 16 hours of non-billable orientation beginning on Sundays with online CBLs • 2 years of experience required • First-time travelers accepted • Experience in General OR, Pediatric General OR, and Trauma required • Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, CNOR • Must live 100 miles from facility • Epic charting system experience preferred • Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred • Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics • Work in 18-room operating suite • Participate in nursing student support and clinical education • Extensive surgical skills required including trauma, orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurological, and robotic surgeries • Experience with various surgical equipment and systems including Da Vinci Xi, Mako Surgical System, and Mazor Robot • Must complete drug testing 12-14 days prior to start date • Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only) • 4-5 hours of non-billable modules during orientation Facility: This healthcare organization operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center providing comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties.
