Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Hickory, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,840 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN Certifications: ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Good patient experience skills with patients and families. Critical care thinking. Stamina to keep up in a fast-paced environment. Description: This position is for an Emergency Department Registered Nurse. The facility includes a 32-bed emergency department. Patient to nurse ratios typically range from 1:4 to 1:5. The patient population includes a broad spectrum from birth to death. Required certifications include ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and NIHSS. This role may involve assisting in areas where competencies are held. Candidates should have experience in a fast-paced emergency department. Knowledge of managing strokes, STEMIs, and trauma cases is preferred. The work environment is dynamic and requires energetic and knowledgeable staff. Dress code is scrubs, with appropriate attire required.
