Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,976 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801! Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Active RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Client experienced ICU nurses preferred. Advanced skills in care of neurology post thrombectomy and TPA patients. Experience with post neurosurgery patients. Familiarity with CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring. Description: The ICU unit has 12 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2. The unit is staffed with secretaries and techs for optimal support. Baxter pumps are used as equipment throughout the unit. Documentation is performed using the Cerner system. Scheduling is self-directed based on unit needs. There is a requirement for six weekend shifts per period. Travelers may float to other intensive care units or step-down units as needed. Candidates must have certifications in NIHSS and ACLS.
