Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Hickory, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,912 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo Description: Orientation is conducted twice monthly. This facility has 355 beds and offers a range of specialized services including brain, cancer, heart, lung, orthopedic, general and vascular surgery, surgical weight loss, and women's health. The facility features a 32-bed emergency department, a 29-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, and a 15-bed surgical suite with imaging services. Additionally, there is an adult behavioral health hospital with 81 beds. The telemetry unit has 24 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 4:1. Equipment used includes Life Paks, Zoll monitors, Masimo devices, and Cerner electronic health records. The patient population primarily consists of generalized cardiac patients ranging from young adults to elderly adults. Common diagnoses include chest pain, atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, and pre-and post-care for cardiac catheterizations. The unit promotes a family-oriented environment. Candidates may occasionally need to float to other areas as required. The dress code allows for any color scrubs.
