Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,836 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, ENPC Must-Have: - 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting - Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center - Teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real time - Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The facility is recognized for providing high clinical quality year over year. This department is known for teamwork and welcoming personalities. Our group enjoys serving a diverse community with a wide range of languages spoken. The emergency department has 101 beds, with typical patient ratios of 4:1. It may reach up to 7:1 for behavioral holds. Staffing includes technicians working in cardiac monitoring and triage. Unit clerks are available during both day and night shifts. Equipment used includes Baxter pumps and GE monitors. The documentation system in use is Cerner. Scheduling requires every other weekend availability. Must be open to floating to all sections within the emergency department. Patient experience emphasizes respectful behavior and communication.
