Registered Nurse (RN) | Direct Observation Unit Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,638 to $1,832 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title Travel RN - D2 - PCU - Clinical Decision Unit City/State: Asheville, North Carolina Shift: 18:45-07:15, Nights Contract Length: 12.00-3 weeks Start Date: 02/02/2026 Job Description: The RN in the Observation Unit will provide quality nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit, working as part of a supportive team to ensure a positive patient experience. This unit is designed for short stay and inpatient overflow care, with a focus on having a quick patient turnover and managing varying levels of medical-surgical and step-down patient needs. Responsibilities: Provide telemetry monitoring for patients as needed. Manage patient care with a nurse-to-patient ratio typically ranging from 1:5 to 1:6. Flexibility to float to other units within the facility as needed. Requirements: Competency in telemetry is mandatory. Experience in Progressive Care. Certifications in BLS and ACLS required.
