Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/15/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Location: Hickory, NC Total Beds: 355 Specialty Centers: Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women’s Center, Level III NICU ED: 32 beds Inpatient Rehab: 29 beds Surgical Suite & Imaging: 15 beds Behavioral Health: Frye South Campus – 81-bed adult Behavioral Health Hospital Orientation: Bi-weekly Position Details Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts Average Volume: 5–15 cases per day Experience: Preferred Pay & Local Criteria Local Rate: $54/hr Travel Requirement: Candidates must reside 60 miles from the facility to be considered travel Essential Functions Perform plan-of-care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments Document all patient care accurately Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families Assist patients with ADLs including hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and ambulation Collaborate across disciplines for patient transfers, discharge planning, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support Assess patient and family learning needs and provide age- and culture-appropriate education Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of patients Qualifications & Requirements Active State RN license BSN from an accredited nursing program BLS required within 30 days of hire ACLS & PALS required within 6 months of hire Minimum 1 year experience preferred ASLS certification preferred About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
