Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Jefferson, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,912 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room (ER) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - IV Start - Telemetry - Experience in ER Setting Description: This position requires a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Local candidates are welcome. Preferred certifications include NIHSS and TNCC. Experience with conscious sedation and triage is also preferred. The target patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4-6. Weekend work is required every third weekend. You will care for a general patient population ranging from neonates to centenarians. The unit has 12 beds available. Documentation is done using an older version of MediTech, with communication via SBAR. An EKG test is required and must be passed prior to starting in this specialty. Candidates may float to other units based on skills and patient census. Comfort with floating without restrictions is required. References from supervisors within the past 12 months are preferred. Candidates cannot work more than 5 consecutive days or exceed 60 hours in a week. Modules must be completed prior to starting and annually thereafter.
