Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,336 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Opportunity – PICU Registered Nurse – North Carolina Start Date: January 16, 2026 Location: Asheville, North Carolina Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 6-week scheduling block; 3 weekends required per block; self-scheduling available Highlights: Work in a 9-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at a top-tier hospital recognized as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals and a Leapfrog 'A' Hospital Safety Grade recipient Patient ratios: 1:1 to 1:2 in PICU; 1:2 to 1:3 in stepdown settings Utilize Cerner documentation system and Alaris pumps for patient care Collaborative environment with unit secretaries during day shifts and shared tech support Float opportunities to Pediatrics and NICU units Part of a Magnet-designated facility with Level II trauma center and the region's only children's hospital services Requirements: Active RN license in North Carolina PALS certification required Minimum 1 year of PICU experience Proficiency in IV starts, catheterizations, central line dressing changes, hemodynamic monitoring, trach care, tube feeding and placement, ICP monitoring, and ventilator management Ability to assist with procedures including lumbar punctures Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to work in a prestigious, nationally recognized facility that holds both Magnet designation and top 1% hospital rankings for clinical excellence.
