Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Maryville,
Tennessee, 37804! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing
Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night
3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years in Labor and
Delivery License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP,
AWHONN Intermediate Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - 1
year of EPIC experience required - Floating to other units is
required, but only in areas of competency - Weekend coverage and
call are required - No first-time travelers Description: Must have
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certification. Floating to
other units is required; floating will only occur in areas of
competency. Weekend coverage and call are required. Charge
experience is preferred. Must have 1 year of experience with EPIC.
Special procedures include triage assessments, inductions,
cesareans, external versions, NSTs, circumcisions, and newborn
resuscitation/stabilization. Must be able to administer magnesium
sulfate. No first-time travelers will be considered. A minimum of 2
years of Labor and Delivery experience is required. Duties may
include conducting triage of obstetrical patients and performing
sterile vaginal exams. Candidate must recognize and treat abnormal
fetal heart rate patterns. Experience with high-risk deliveries is
essential. The role requires skill in assisting with both vaginal
and cesarean deliveries. Responsibilities may involve postpartum
care and providing education to parents regarding infant care.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the use of various
medical equipment and techniques related to labor and delivery.
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills are required to
manage complications such as pre-eclampsia or neonatal abstinence
syndrome. Support for breastfeeding and lactation is also part of
