Locum Tenens Opportunity: Urology Physician Near Campobello, SC We are seeking experienced Urology Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity near Campobello, SC. This role is set to begin ASAP and is an ongoing opportunity to join our locum pool for future coverage needs. Position Overview: Profession: Physician Specialty: Urology Rate Type: On Call (Daily) Emergency/Temp Privileges: No Shift Type: 24-Hour Call (6 AM - 6 AM) Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing, with future coverage needs starting in 2025 Weekend Requirements: Yes On Call Requirements: Yes Key Responsibilities: Call Schedule: Provide 24-hour on-call coverage, from 6 AM to 6 AM. Handle ED and inpatient cases, focusing exclusively on adult and geriatric patients. Average number of hospital-based surgeries: 2-5 per weekend. Procedures Required: Ureteroscopy Laparoscopic Surgeries General Urology Trauma Nephrectomy Partial Nephrectomies/Intraoperative Ultrasound Incontinence Procedures Daily Duties: Average number of patients per day: 15-20. Perform and manage urological procedures independently, as no other urologists will be present during your assignment. Facility Details: Documentation System: Epic EMR Lab and X-Ray: Onsite Trauma Level/Designation: Level II Qualifications: Certification: Board Certified in Urology (Required) License: Active South Carolina medical license (Required) Background: 100% clean background (Required) Experience: No new grads; extensive experience, positive ratings, and comprehensive training required Certifications: BLS/ACLS preferred This position offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled Urologist to contribute to a vital locum coverage pool and provide exceptional care.
