Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years preferred License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Management of dysrhythmias Central line care/management IV vasopressors BiPAP/CPAP management Care of ventilated patients Isolation precautions and PPE Triage experience Description: The Emergency Room seeks an experienced Registered Nurse. The position involves working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. The patient-to-nurse ratio is approximately 1:6. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of ER experience. Charge experience is preferred but not mandatory. Experience with Epic charting system is required. The ability to manage a wide range of patient diagnoses is essential. The unit serves a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates should be familiar with administering cardiac and insulin drips. Supportive staff includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Flexibility to cover weekend shifts as needed is required.
