Registered Nurse (RN) | Trauma Intensive Care Unit Location: Asheville, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,976 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 Experience: 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Trauma and/or surgical ICU background Description: Unit Information: 20 beds available on the unit. Staffing includes day and night shift with a charge nurse and ten nurses. Patient ratios are 1:2 or 1:3 with staffing challenges. Equipment used includes Camino ICP, CRRT, EVD, wound vacs, and arterial/CVC lines. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner. Typical procedures performed include central line insertions, chest tube insertions, arterial line insertions, and percutaneous tracheostomies. Candidates should possess strong teamwork skills.
