Details - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting - Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) - 36-hour weekly work commitment - Rotating weekends and rotating holidays required - No on-call responsibilities - Floating required - Patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:7 (medical-surgical level acuity) Requirements - Active TN or Compact RN license required - Minimum 2 years of RN experience required - Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration - Candidates must reside 100 miles from the facility's service area to be eligible Additional Information - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Local candidates are not accepted — must reside more than 100 miles from the facility's service area - Orientation begins on Sundays via online computer-based learning (CBLs) - Travel RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities - 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-681679.
