Nurse Practitioner | Family Practice Location: Coeburn, VA Employer: Adelphi Locums Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Quick Facts • Specialty: General Medicine NP • Location: Virginia - Coeburn, Covington, Hillsville - Emporia, Richmond • Service Setting: Outpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing • Coverage Type: Clinical only • Shift Coverage: Compensation & Pension Exam, Separation Health Assessments • Shift Schedule: PRN (as needed basis) - Half day (4 hrs or less) - Full day (4-8 hrs) - Weekends can be accepted but are not required - Own Office: - Coeburn: 2 days/week - Covington: 1 day/week - Hillsville: 2 days/week - Emporia: 1/2 day per week - Richmond: 1.5 days/week • Duties: - Perform exams; interview-based (with some physical assessment) - Range of motion testing - Muscle strength testing - No prescribing, no treatment • Malpractice Insurance Covered Requirements: • Active VA License • BC • Own personal laptop (No MACs/Apple) • DMA Certification (or willing to obtain) • Proficiency in: - METs Testing - Eval and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular • Must be within 50 miles of location • NPDB Report
