Job Description:

Primary FunctionThe Training Coordinator will support the Human Resources department by coordinatingand documenting a wide range of training activities/programs for both new hires and existing employees supporting employee development plans and career growth. Also, the incumbent will assist the HR team by performing day-to-day activities including employee data entry and maintenance and participate in ongoing projects. Role Specific ResponsibilitiesSchedule and organize training classes on core manufacturing processes (welding, glassing, foaming, etc.) and lean methodologies.Assist in creatingand maintaining personnel files through SAP, including new employee input, benefit elections,status changes.Manage our Maintenance Apprenticeship program, Welder Certification program, Forklift certification/recertification programs and all other technical certification programs.Conduct technical training needs assessments.Manage our SuccessFactors database in building classes/programs, enrolling employees in training course/program, tracking their progress and reporting completion of training.Perform audits to ensure instructions are being followed and compliance is reached.Coordinate our Tuition Reimbursement Program.Design assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.Work on assigned continuous improvement projects working with Engineers, Supervisors, Leads and Operators.Responsible for gathering, filing, maintaining training records and other related documentation in a timely manner.Other duties may be assigned as needed.QualificationsExcellent interpersonal skills. Skilled at collaborating, influencing, and partnering with a diverse employee base.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to create and deliver presentations, provide coaching to employees, and convey feedback to various roles within the organization.Strong organizational and time management skills. Capable of planning and oversee multiple projects. Detail-oriented.An attitude of continuous improvement, focusing on individual, department, and plant wide success.Highly motivated and passion for delivering highly engaging learning sessions.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision/direction.Must possess excellent time management skills and be able to manage priorities.Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
