Job Description:
As a Processing Plant Supervisor at Koch Foods, you will oversee
the daily operations at one of our leading poultry processing
facilities. This pivotal role ensures the efficient production of
high-quality poultry products while adhering to safety and health
regulations. Our ideal candidate is a motivated leader who thrives
in a fast-paced environment and is committed to driving excellence
across all aspects of the production process. Supervise and
coordinate the activities of production and operation workers such
as inspectors, precision workers, machine setters and operators,
assemblers, fabricators, and plant and system operators. Maintain
inventory levels and control flow of product to meet production
schedules effectively. Ensure all processing activities are carried
out in compliance with state, federal, and company regulations,
maintaining a safe environment and adhering to health and hygiene
standards. Analyze production data to identify and resolve any
production issues. Enhance productivity by implementing new
initiatives and continuously improving operational processes.
Conduct employee training sessions on safety practices,
troubleshooting techniques, and machine operations. Prepare reports
on production performance and progress for senior management.
Strong leadership and communication skills In-depth knowledge of
production management Ability to work under pressure and manage
time effectively High proficiency in MS Office and industry-related
software Experience in problem-solving and troubleshooting in a
manufacturing environment Certified in Production and Inventory
Management (CPIM) preferred. Food Safety Certification. OSHA Safety
Certification desirable.
