Job DescriptionSalary: Data AnalystPosition Overview At Ntara,
we consult and provide digital strategies to some of America's
biggest brands. Data is at the center of everything we do. We need
a strategy-minded data analyst who can help us make a real impact
for our clients. We are actively seeking a data analyst who
demonstrates a passion and skill for managing web analytics for
multiple clients and has experience using advanced quantitative and
qualitative data analysis methods. In this role, you will also help
the team develop and execute various mixed method research projects
and business analysis scenarios requiring advanced analytical
methods. You will help consult and guide our clients in the areas
of website analytics, customer segmentation, personalization, and
user testing. The right candidate will join our Strategic Services
team and provide valuable insights to analysis projects and
retained client teams. The analyst in this position should be
Google Analytics certified and have working knowledge and skill
developing dashboards and reports in Google Data Studio. They will
work hand-in-hand with our accounts team and digital strategists to
help us deliver best-in-class digital experiences, informed and
designed based on data. A successful Data Analyst has A data
obsessionYou're an Excel wizard. You're strong in math and
statistical methods. You have experience working on projects
developing and applying models that can accurately measure impact.
You have an in-depth understanding of what you're analyzing – but
you can discuss it with someone who doesn't, in clear and
persuasive language. An insatiable curiosityYou have an innate
desire to uncover insights. The thought of conducting research
projects excites you and you love coming up with the best way to
ask a survey question. You are comfortable writing survey
questions, building them, and supporting a cross-functional team to
glean insights and recommendations. You're confident in your
ability to create stellar PowerPoint presentations and present your
work to senior management. Primary requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a web analytics or data analyst
role.
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree in relevant field—business
analytics, digital marketing, computer engineering, mathematics, or
research.
- Experience producing insightful, actionable, detail-oriented
reports
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze and summarize complicated data
- In-depth experience and/or certification with Google Analytics,
BI tools, and data visualization tools (Google Data Studio and
Microsoft Power BI knowledge a plus)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables,
H- and V-lookups, IF statements, concatenation, text to columns
tools, and various statistical tests.
- Knowledge of Qualtrics, Survey Monkey, and HotJar a plus
- Expertise with SQL, R and/or Python is an asset Things that

- Ability to communicate complex data and insights to
stakeholders
- Experience working with cross-functional team to develop
data-driven strategies
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager
- Comfortability working autonomously and as part of a team
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience cross analyzing multiple sets of data with numerous
attributes
- Mastery of data analysis tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Power
BI, etc.
- Experience with A/B and multivariate testing a plus
- Search Engine Marketing & technical SEO knowledge (Google
AdWords, Bing, etc.)
A day in the life of a Data Analyst
- Implement and test Google Analytics tracking code
- Create dashboards and reports that empower clients to take
data-driven action
- Collect, standardize, analyze, and report quantitative
data
- Clean, categorize, analyze, and report qualitative data
- Cross-analyze data from multiple sources to build insightful
and engaging visualizations
- Create and manage effective questionnaires, surveys, and user
testing scenarios
- Work with strategists from multiple disciplines to develop
holistic digital strategies based on data
- Support team to develop and deliver client-facing presentations
