to find a qualified Long-Term Care RN in Knoxville, Tennessee,

Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: TN or compact licensure
required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: EKG testing
must be passed before the start date. Previous charge experience is
preferred. Charting experience with Cerner is required.
Description: The position is for a registered nurse in a
transitional care unit. The nurse will be responsible for managing
a patient ratio of 1:8-10. Weekend coverage is required, every
other weekend or two weekends per month. The nurse must have
experience in accurate patient identification and admission
procedures. Skills in wound care, medication administration, and
infection control are necessary. The role includes discharge
procedures, patient/family teaching, and monitoring vital signs.
Experience with specialized patient care plans is expected. The
nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including
physical therapy and pharmacy. The unit serves adult and geriatric
populations with a daily census of approximately 18. Patient
diagnoses include hip fractures, knee/hip replacements,
post-cardiac procedures, and dementia. Floating may be required
based on census, with a focus on maintaining optimal patient care
standards. Travel experience is required for all specialties. The
candidate should be comfortable working in a nursing home
